The AION 2 Cradle of Nihility is a New PvE Expedition released in February 2026, featuring the boss Afflicted Bakarma. It is considered easier than the Dramata dungeon. The dungeon requires players to manage mechanics like breaking blue orbs with AoE, color-matching barriers, and avoiding boss AoE attacks.

Key Mechanics & Boss Strategies

• 1st Boss: Break blue orbs using AoE, match your assigned color to the correct barrier, and jump over incoming waves.
• 2nd Boss: Match your barrier color to the pillars. When the boss jumps to the edge, watch the barrier and pillar locations. Break swords in the ice.
• Final Boss: Observe the spinning weapons around the boss to determine the rotation direction. Get behind the boss, move with the safe zone, and utilize the stack point indicated by inward-pointing arrows.
• Tank Mechanic: A large ring will follow the tank; avoid the initial stun, stay in the circle, and move to the edges, especially when a second circle appears at 50% health.

Rewards

• Key Rewards: Shining Odyle, High Purity Odyle, Pure Odyle, Radiant Odyle.
• Conquest Mode: Provides additional Draconic materials (Engraving).
• Additional Rewards: The dungeon is part of the daily/weekly cycle for acquiring Enhance Stones, along with other essential progression materials.
• Boss Drops: The instance, along with Dying Dramata's Nest, ensures higher purity levels for Odyle drops.

• Safe Zone Phase: The boss initiates a phase where players must identify and stand in designated safe zones to avoid massive damage.
• Void Spawns: During safe zone transitions, small black holes (voids) spawn throughout the arena. These deal significant damage over time; positioning is critical to avoid being caught in them while moving between safe zones.
• Dramata Mechanics: Similar to the Dying Dramata’s Nest, players must watch for "slice" or "wedge" shaped AoE attacks that require precise movement to the boss's flanks or rear.
