This expedition will also mark the final event before the expedition system enters a temporary break for a larger redesign planned for early 2027. Players will have three weeks to complete objectives, earn rewards, and take advantage of the available progression bonuses. With a longer event period than previous expeditions, the fifth expedition gives both new and experienced players more time to participate.
The fifth expedition officially begins on September 8, 2026. Unlike previous events, there will be no Last Call period this time. Players must complete the Caravan requirements and register during the official event window to participate.
The expedition will last for three weeks, making it the longest expedition available so far. The extended duration allows players to complete missions at a more comfortable pace while still giving dedicated players enough time to maximize their progress.
After the fifth expedition ends, the expedition system will temporarily stop until early 2027. During this period, major improvements will be made to expedition features, reward structures, and progression systems. Players will keep their existing expedition bonuses throughout the break, ensuring that previous achievements continue to provide value when future expeditions return.
The fifth expedition includes a variety of useful rewards designed to encourage players to complete challenges and explore different gameplay options. The available rewards include:

· Up to 12 additional stash spaces
· Bonus skill points

The Zenith Outfit will become fully unlocked after completing all five expeditions, providing a special reward for players who have followed the entire expedition journey.
One of the biggest adjustments in the fifth expedition focuses on quest progression. Players will now have more control over whether their quest progress resets. This means they will not need to repeat the same questline after every expedition, creating a smoother experience for future events.
The Hullcracker Blueprint will also receive changes. Previously, players needed to follow specific quest progression to access it. Future updates will introduce additional ways to obtain the blueprint, giving players more freedom when choosing their preferred progression methods.
These changes are expected to make exploration, resource collection, and equipment preparation feel more flexible. Players will have more options instead of being limited to a single progression path.
After Expedition 5 concludes, the expedition system will enter a temporary pause. The break will allow time for improvements to core systems, rewards, and future features. Players will not lose their earned bonuses, and their previous progress will remain available when the system returns.
Another important change involves unfinished Caravans. Instead of disappearing, unfinished Caravan progress will be converted into Ermal Vouchers. These vouchers can be exchanged for different useful options, including ARC Parts, Firearm Trades, Ermal offers, or Coins.
This adjustment ensures that players still receive value from unfinished progress. It also gives players more choices when managing resources and preparing for upcoming content.
The Trials Season will also follow a separate schedule. The current season will end on September 22 and return on October 8 after a two-week break. Players can use this period to organize their inventory, complete remaining goals, and prepare for future activities.
With new rewards and progression changes arriving soon, players should prepare before the fifth expedition begins. Managing resources, improving equipment, and completing available objectives can help players get the most value from the event.
