What are Stigma Shards?

Stigma Shards are used to equip Stigma Stones, which unlock powerful skills for your character.

How to Get Stigma Shards:

1. Killing Monsters: Stigma Shards drop from many monsters in Balaurea and Reshanta (The Abyss).
2. Abyss: Killing monsters in the Abyss area is a primary source for shards.
3. Stigma Quest: Complete the first Stigma quest at level 20 to get a large batch of shards. Asmodian: "No Escaping Destiny" . Elyos: "A Sliver of Darkness" .
4. Daily Quests: Some daily quests reward Stigma Shards.
5. Artifacts: If your faction controls artifacts, you can get shards here.
6. Transcendence Dungeons: Shards drop from bosses and chests in these dungeons.
7. Abyss Point Exchange: You can buy 20 shards for 500 Abyss Points.
8. Season Shop: From Season 2 onward, Stigma Shards can be bought in the Season Shop.
9. Target Named Monsters: Elite or named monsters have a much higher chance of dropping shards.
10. Trading: You can buy shards or Stigma Stones from other players through the in-game broker.

How to Use Stigma Shards:

1. Find a Stigma Master: To equip Stigma Stones, visit a Stigma Master NPC in major cities (e.g., Orphe in Sanctum or Aud in Pandaemonium).
2. Open the Stigma Menu: Talk to the NPC and choose the option to equip Stigmas, which will open your character's Stigma panel.
3. Pay with Shards: Select the Stigma Stone you want to equip. Each stone requires a certain number of Stigma Shards to be used. More powerful stones require more shards. Some versions may also require a Kinah fee.
4. Confirm: After paying with shards, the skill will appear in your skill window. You can drag it to your action bar to use in combat.

Important Notes:

• Shard Consumption: Stigma Shards are used when equipping a Stigma Stone, and the shards are permanently lost.
• No Refunds: If you unequip a stone, the shards used are not returned.
• Free Removal: Removing a Stigma Stone is free at the Stigma Master, but re-equipping it later will require paying the shard cost again.
• Advanced Stigmas: You need to have basic Stigmas equipped before you can use shards to unlock "Advanced" or "Greater" Stigmas.
