Kevin McGonigle is a 21-year-old infielder for the Detroit Tigers who is currently ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in baseball by MLB Pipeline and Baseball America. He made his Major League debut on March 26, 2026, and is considered one of the purest hitting prospects in recent years, notably becoming the first player ever to receive an 80-grade hit tool rating from Baseball America.
